“What Are Your Fitness Goals”

In the past, whenever I was asked my goals, I struggled to come up with an answer. Although I started working out regularly a few years ago, I was never working towards something. A few months ago I decided I wanted to enter a bikini competition to challenge myself. One of the first things I did was contact Tayler about her online coaching. After completing a 12-week prep with Tayler, I competed last weekend. Hiring Tayler was the best thing I did to prepare for the stage. Contest prep is hard; but having Tayler there to tell me how much to eat, the best food sources, what exercises to do, how to pose, and even what to pack, eliminated all the guesswork. I trusted Tayler’s expert advice and ended up in the best shape of my life. And I had fun doing it. I believe the reason my contest prep experience was so positive is because Tayler made my health the top priority. I did not do excessive cardio, cut out all carbs, or drop my calories dangerously low. In fact, my family and friends often joked about how I was constantly eating! It feels good to know that I accomplished what I set out to do in a healthy way that I can be proud of. No matter what I choose for my next "goal," I know the exercise and nutrition knowledge I gained from Tayler over the past several weeks will help me get there. I would recommend Tayler to anyone considering competing or looking to transform their body!

Mallory doesn’t need a stage to achieve her ultimate goal!

I met Tayler about two years ago when I decided to compete in my first bikini competition. This time was a little different. I only had 10 weeks to get my body stage ready and Taylor gave me the confidence and tools I needed to make it happen. I chose to use the online program again because it works great with my schedule. Tayler is always available to answer any questions I have. Due to a family surprise vocation, I was unable to compete on the day of the competition. To me, the end result is not what I look like in a spray tan all fancied up in heels walking on a stage being judged. To me, I love the process! The process of watching my body change week by week by eating healthy and kicking my butt in the gym. The whole process is my competition, it’s a competition I have with myself. Every week I wanted to look and feel better, and I did! My end goal was to feel good again about my body, and I achieved that with the support and knowledge of Tayler!

Kristina steps on stage for all the right reasons

Over the years I have become a women who works hard for everything I’ve achieved and have pushed myself harder than I thought I could. That is until my life changed in a matter of weeks making me realize how much of my life I never was selfish. Now, that word is never used lightly and I always hated it but I realized I didn’t love myself, I didn’t go out of my way to do things to make me happy and when I realized those things. I needed to fight for something to be happy and successful. To find me again. I have always been into working out and making myself better but never pushed myself to do more. When I first reached out to Tayler, I just wanted to have a distraction and finally get to the goal I always wanted. I worked out an 8 week program with her and within 3 weeks I stood in a stand still. I didn’t feel I was fighting for something, a goal. Yeah, my goal was to look better but I needed more than that. After talking to numerous amounts of people and Tayler supporting me 100% of the way I decided I needed to compete. Not to win the prize, look better than everyone else but to push myself more than ever and to find something to fight for. I had my days where friends and family questioned what I was doing and sometimes I even questioned what I was doing but all in all my biggest support system was our team that didn’t even know me well. People on Tayler’s team reached out to me for constant support, motivation and when I [...]

A whole new Madison

In 2011 I began lifting. Every time I would go to the gym I would see these girls that I one day wanted to be. It wasn’t until about a year later that I found out these girls competed and I started to think about doing it myself. After a lot of thought I thought it wasn’t for me. For the next years I continued lifting and working out. I then saw a picture of my good friend and now teammate Erin Smith looking amazing. I contacted Erin to see what she was doing and she told me about Team TaylerMade. I talked back and forth for a while about it with her. Most of her trying to convince me to do it. It wasn’t until I checked out Tayler’s website and then talked to Tayler over email that I made the decision to join Team TaylerMade. When I emailed Tayler, I was one week late of a 12 week prep, and with Tayler’s motivation and my dedication I knew that I could do the comp prep in 11 weeks. The week I joined I came to posing class on Friday and fell absolutely in love with Tayler and the girls. I knew that I was in the right place and this was for me. Now with the struggles of being a college student at the University of Kansas, I still managed to stick to my diet and my workouts. With the help of every girl on the team, I made it through the temptations of going out followed by that midnight pizza haha. Each week went by and as I hit 4 weeks out from showtime I knew that I was not where I [...]

“I got a lot of raised eyebrows and laughs when I told people I was going to compete”

Growing up, I was never gifted athletically.I couldn’t catch a ball to save my life, and I was always the last person picked for team sports. It may not seem like a big deal, but it really took a toll on me as I was ridiculed and deemed inferior to my peers. Luckily, I grew up as a competitive swimmer where I learned the importance of hard work and dedication. During my final years of high school, I became extremely dedicated and would go to practice 8 times a week year round.I loved seeing myself improve every day as I put in the hard work.I may not have been the fastest swimmer on the team, but I definitely had one of the biggest hearts. But as high school was coming to an end and college was in the near future, reality struck. As much dedication and commitment as I had in the sport of swimming, I just was not fast enough to swim at a Division 1 school. I started college at Missouri State University in the Fall of 2011, and a part of me felt empty as I was no longer involved in competitive swimming.I missed the feeling of putting my whole heart into something.I started going to the rec center at my school, but like most girls I had no idea what I was doing and thought an hour on the elliptical every day would get me“toned”.It wasn’t until my sophomore year of college that I became familiar with the weight room and learned the importance of health and nutrition.I started seeing results both in and outside the gym and I loved it. But something was still missing. I had seen Tayler Parry at Golds Gym [...]

Vowing to never hit the weight room again, Brooke places 1st in her very first bikini competition ever!!

I have muscles.  I’ve always had very full muscles and I’ve always been very self-conscious about it.  I can remember turning 12 and watching the scale jump from 86lbs to 114lbs to 130lbs within a year.  I wasn’t fat, I wasn’t chubby, I was just muscular.  I hated shopping because nothing fit and I hated wearing shorts because I developed stretch marks on my legs from growing so fast.  “Why can’t I just be like my friends?  Why can’t I look skinny like the girls on TV? Why do I look like a boy?”  (Seriously, I had a doctor tell me I was built like man…thanks doc…you know just how to make a 14 year old feel good about herself!)  I have been super conscious about how much I eat since I was a teenager.  Needless to say, I never accepted my body type.   Despite my aggravation, my strength and compact size came in handy in some areas. I competed in basketball, volleyball and division 1 softball, while also showing horses and cattle.  In college, I gained the “freshman 15” (plus some extra), lost it all, got super skinny then packed on more muscle from our heavy weight training and eventually when I got done with ball, I settle back into my normal self….which I still didn’t like. I vowed to never hit the weight room again, so I took up running…distance running at that.  (If you knew me you’d laugh at this because I HATE RUNNING.)  This lasted for maybe a summer, and then I moved back to Jefferson City and quit working out for a good year, if not longer.  I started Crossfit almost a year ago and it rekindled my love [...]

Ashley drops 19lbs in 8 weeks!

Ashley Draper (Now Aramjoo!) Age: 23 My whole life, I have struggled with both weight and confidence. I have always been busy with school, now finishing my last year of law school and always used that as an excuse for my poor habits. I continued to get heavier and got to a point where I was completely ashamed of myself. I could no longer enjoy things I used to love, like shopping, swimming and taking pictures with friends and family. I got engaged in March 2013 to a man who has been with me, through everything, for seven years. We planned to get married in August 2013 and I knew that something had to change. My weight, my level of confidence and my outlook on life were no longer fair to not only me but to him either. I was recommended to Tayler by Miranda Head. After seeing how awesome Miranda looked from competing, I asked her if she had any recommendations of who to contact that could help me with my goals. I did not want to compete but just wanted to feel better about myself. She recommended contacting Tayler and making the leap to finally contact her was one of the best decisions of my life. I decided to do an 8 week program (since I was exactly 8 weeks away from my wedding!). Tayler created an at-home plan for me to follow so I no longer had any excuses! The results I saw not only in the numbers but also in the pictures brought me to tears. It was not easy but seeing these kinds of results in such a short time made it all worth it! By the end of the [...]
